Role Overview
Growloc is seeking a proactive Operations & Supply Chain Intern to support our farm-to-market ecosystem for exotic fresh produce. This role offers hands-on experience in procurement, logistics, and vendor management within a fast-growing Agri-Tech startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement: Source exotic vegetables, negotiate pricing, and onboard new farmers/vendors.
- Operations: Manage daily inbound/outbound activities and ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Market Intelligence:
Visit wholesale markets to track pricing trends and supplier availability.
- Quality Control: Supervise sorting, grading, and packing to maintain high freshness standards.
- Coordination: Liaise between procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to resolve operational challenges.
Requirements
- Students or recent graduates in Supply Chain, Operations, Agriculture, or MBA.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with fieldwork and market visits.
- Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn in a quick-paced environment.
