ROLEAs a Cloud Migration Project Manager, you will drive the end-to-end phase-gate governance, execution, and delivery of AWS cloud migration initiatives utilizing your deep project management and technical infrastructure expertise. Collaborating across engineering teams, client leadership, and key stakeholders, you will manage the complete lifecycle—from Discovery and Architecture through Testing and Cutover, while mitigating risks, managing technical dependencies, and maintaining strict control under a Fixed-Bid/Fixed-Price delivery model. We are seeking a PMP-certified or highly experienced self-starter with exceptional communication skills and a robust background in AWS cloud migrations to direct engineering teams, execute seamless cutover runbooks, and drive on-time, high-quality releases.JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Phase-Gate Governance: Track project baselines across Discovery, Architecture, Migration, Testing, and Cutover.Discovery & Architecture: Coordinate dependency mapping and ensure AWS target architecture readiness prior to migration.Risk & Issue Management: Mitigate technical dependencies, security risks, and downtime bottlenecks; escalate critical blockers.Quality & Acceptance: Validate non-functional requirements (security, compliance, performance) for phase sign-offs.Resource Management:



Direct engineering teams, prioritize workloads, and resolve capacity bottlenecks to hit milestones.Cutover Planning: Execute Cutover Runbooks and align downtime windows with stakeholders for minimal business impact.Stakeholder Communication: Provide client status updates, lead milestone reviews, and manage timeline expectations.Team Leadership: Protect engineering focus, resolve internal friction, and manage workload capacity.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or Business Management3–5 years’ experience as a Project Manager leading end-to-end IT migrationsProven track record delivering AWS cloud migration projects under a Fixed-Bid/Fixed-Price modelProfessional project management certification (PMP preferred)Strong understanding of technical infrastructure, AWS cloud architecture, and software engineering dependenciesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business, technical, and executive levelsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Related academic or professional qualifications are requireKindly note that this is an immediate vacancy requiring immediate joining, and the working hours will overlap with the US timeframe (1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST)
