Position Overview:-As Head of Design, you will lead and oversee the Design department, managing a multidisciplinary team of architects, BIM specialists, Quantity Surveyors, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineers. and specifications for compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations.Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture, BIM, Quantity Survey, and MEP engineering.Quality AssuranceEstablish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure design deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence and accuracy.Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Value EngineeringDrive a continuous focus on cost reduction and process improvement across design deliverables.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; professional licensure or certification preferred.15+ years of overall experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role within architecture or real estate, with a strong focus on design management.Extensive knowledge and expertise in architectural design, BIM technology, Quantity Survey, and MEP engineering.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of design professionals towards common goals.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.Commitment to sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement in design practices.
