The Raj Company specializes in custom furniture, collaborating closely with clients to translate their specifications into finely crafted, innovative bespoke designs.Role Description The Project Design Coordinator is a full time, on-site role based near JNPT, Navi Mumbai, responsible for coordinating furniture design projects from concept through completion. This role involves working closely with clients, designers, and production teams to translate design briefs into detailed project plans, timelines, and specifications. The Project Design Coordinator will review drawings, materials, and finishes, ensure design feasibility, and monitor project progress to meet quality standards, budgets, and deadlines. The role includes preparing and maintaining project order documents, coordinating with vendors,



managing quality check assurance and regular project reporting as needed. The Project Design Coordinator will also support design presentations, manage feedback, and help ensure that final products align with client expectations and brand standards.QualificationsStrong project coordination and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and tracking design and production activities.Effective communication skills for collaborating with craftspeople, suppliers and internal teams.Foundational knowledge of furniture design, including materials, finishes, and design principles.Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Proficiency with design and 23/3D drawing tools (e.G., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and basic MS Office or project management software.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience in furniture, interior, or luxury design industries is an advantage, along with an interest in handcrafted and sustainable materials.
