About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Analyst & Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting our application development and production support teams by ensuring the quality and functionality of web applications, reports, and related systems. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in manual testing, defect tracking, project tracking, and stakeholder coordination. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a solid background in software quality assurance and project management to contribute to impactful projects within a collaborative environment. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, organizational skills, and effective communication to ensure project success and seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on manual testing experience. Strong SQL knowledge is essential for backend data validation, alongside experience testing APIs using tools like Postman.



Familiarity with project management and issue tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and SharePoint is necessary for effective communication and documentation. Knowledge of accessibility standards such as ADA, Section 508, or WCAG is preferred. Candidates should have experience testing web applications, PDFs, reports, and database functionalities. Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar is a plus. Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills are vital, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Willingness to work the full shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time is required.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include performing various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for web applications. The QA Analyst will create and execute detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data, ensuring comprehensive coverage of application functionalities. Backend data validation using SQL and API testing with Postman will be a key aspect of the role. Additionally, testing application-generated PDFs and reports, as well as conducting accessibility and ADA compliance testing, will be required to ensure inclusivity and adherence to standards.

Tracking, documenting, and prioritizing defects, followed by retesting and closing issues, forms a core part of the role. Maintaining project trackers, testing documentation,



and meeting deadlines are essential to ensure smooth project progression. The candidate will be responsible for collecting daily updates from the development team, preparing consolidated status reports, and following up on tasks, blockers, and timelines. Coordination of application demos, UAT activities, production releases, and post-release validation is also expected. Effective communication with stakeholders, attending project meetings, and escalating critical issues when necessary will be crucial for project success.
