Company Description TEDxDalLake is an independently organized TEDx event based in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, focused on sharing ideas that inspire, challenge, and create impact. The event gathers thinkers, innovators, youth leaders, professionals, and community voices to explore themes such as technology, culture, education, sustainability, entrepreneurship, art, and social change. Situated near the iconic Dal Lake, TEDxDalLake reflects the spirit, beauty, and diversity of Kashmir while bringing global-quality conversations to the local community. Organized by a dedicated volunteer team under an official TEDx license, the initiative emphasizes community engagement, youth participation, and impactful storytelling through TED-style talks and performances. The mission is to create a space where ideas meet action and local stories connect with global relevance.
Role Description The Sponsorship and Partnerships Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Srinagar, responsible for supporting the development and management of relationships with sponsors, partners, and collaborators for TEDxDalLake. Day-to-day tasks include researching potential sponsors and partners, preparing outreach materials, and assisting in proposal creation and pitch presentations. The intern will help maintain communication with existing partners,



coordinate deliverables, and ensure that sponsorship commitments are fulfilled before and during the event. They will also collaborate with the organizing team to align partnership activities with event objectives, support documentation and reporting, and contribute ideas to enhance the value and visibility of sponsorships.
Qualifications

- Robust Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships skills to identify, build, and nurture collaborative relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for outreach, negotiation, and follow-up.
- Analytical Skills to research prospects, evaluate partnership opportunities, and support data-driven decisions.
- Basic Sales and sponsorship outreach skills to support pitching and converting potential partners.
- Interest in TEDx, social impact, and community-focused initiatives.
- Ability to work on-site in Srinagar, manage time effectively, and coordinate with a volunteer team.
- Pursuing or recently completed studies in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfort with digital tools (email, spreadsheets, presentation software) and professional correspondence.
