Role Description The Interior Design Faculty will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate interior design courses, delivering lectures, workshops, and studio-based sessions aligned with the institute's curriculum and standards. Responsibilities include mentoring learners on design projects, guiding them through conceptualization, space planning, materials selection, and visual presentation, while encouraging experimentation and creative thinking. The faculty member will develop lesson plans, assessment criteria, and grading rubrics; review assignments and portfolios; and provide structured feedback to support academic and professional growth.



Additional duties involve coordinating industry interactions, participating in curriculum development, contributing to academic events, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of interior design trends, practices, and technologies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in South Delhi, requiring regular presence for classes, reviews, faculty meetings, and other institutional activities.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in interior design theory and practice, including space planning, materials and finishes, lighting, and design aesthetics.
- Proficiency in design visualization tools and techniques (e.g., hand drafting, 2D/3D software, presentation boards, and digital portfolios).
- Experience in academic instruction or training, with skills in curriculum delivery, classroom management, assessment, and learner mentorship.
- Ability to integrate contemporary industry trends, sustainable design practices, and real-world case studies into teaching.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic community.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a closely related field from a recognized institution; prior teaching or industry experience in interior design is highly desirable.
- Comfort with using digital tools for academic administration and learner engagement; willingness to participate in institutional events, reviews, and exhibitions.
