Role Description The Insurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Amandeep Hospital in Mandi Gobindgarh. This role oversees all insurance-related operations, including coordinating with patients, insurance companies, and internal clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate and timely claim processing. Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying insurance coverage, supervising pre-authorization and claim submission, resolving discrepancies and denials, and maintaining up-to-date records and documentation. The Insurance Manager will lead a small team, monitor key performance indicators, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient experience. The role also involves collaborating with finance and front-office teams,



ensuring compliance with insurer policies and regulatory guidelines, and providing clear communication and guidance to patients and staff regarding insurance procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Insurance processes, health insurance products, and claim management.
- Solid understanding of Finance, including billing, reimbursements, and basic accounting concepts related to hospital operations.
- Demonstrated Team Management skills, including supervising staff, delegating tasks, and coaching for performance.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle patient queries, resolve concerns, and communicate complex insurance information clearly.
- Exposure to Sales or business development activities related to insurance tie-ups, panels, and corporate accounts is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or hospital administration are an advantage.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare insurance environment, with familiarity in TPA, Private Insurance, Government Psu's, coordination and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with hospital information systems and MS Office.
- Ability to work in office, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting.
