Roles and responsibilities:

As an SAP Archiving SME, you will be responsible for managing the SAP data lifecycle, ensuring data compliance, and maintaining the operational readiness of the SAP archival setup, including services such as SAP-ILM, Dell ECS, OpenText, and other cloud-agnostic storage solutions.

You will work across both project and operational phases to ensure that the archival setup is implemented, validated for GxP data archival, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and Novo Nordisk standards. You will collaborate closely with SAP project teams, Operations teams, and Line of Business stakeholders to analyse archival requirements, enable data archival, and maintain ILM-enabled archival jobs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Ensure lifecycle management and IT compliance of the SAP data archival system from implementation through operations,



in line with regulatory requirements and Novo Nordisk standards.

Drive risk management, governance, and system strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams across the SAP area.

Support SAP areas in enabling data archival, including assessment of high memory-consuming data objects and alignment of data residence and retention durations with Line of Business stakeholders.

Represent the SAP Data Archival system and its compliance posture during audits, as required.

Manage system documentation, configuration, and changes with full traceability across the system lifecycle.

Evaluate the impact of recent SAP upgrades on the established archival setup and assess continued compatibility.

Handle share point page and user communications relevant to SAP data archival system

Handle IT incidents from Line of Business stakeholders related to data and provide key data that is not accessible for LoB through assigned SAP transaction codes.

Act as the primary point of contact for SAP data archival needs across Line of Business and projects within the SAPEco area.

Contribute to continuous improvement, drive smaller optimisations within the SAP data archival area, and support audit readiness and compliance activities.
