Job Summary

Hector Beverages is looking for a Category Head to lead an assigned portfolio with full P&L; ownership.

This is a business leadership role for someone who can operate with a founder's mindset: define the ambition, chart the growth strategy, make clear portfolio and investment choices, and lead execution across functions.

The role goes well beyond brand management. It requires equal comfort with consumers, commercial decisions, channels, innovation and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the portfolio P&L;
- Define the medium-term growth agenda
- Build sharper propositions, stronger brands and meaningful innovation.
- Lead portfolio strategy, annual planning, resource allocation and performance management.




- Shape channel strategy across general trade, quick commerce, modern trade and digital marketplaces.
- Drive new product development from opportunity identification through launch and scale.
- Lead consumer engagement, communication and content.
- Mobilise cross-functional teams across Sales, Innovation, Supply Chain, Finance, Creative and Digital Commerce.
- Lead and develop the Brand Managers within the portfolio

The Candidate

- 6–8 years of strong experience in consumer businesses.
- Top-tier undergraduate degree and MBA from a tier-1 business school.
- A consistent track record of high achievement and disproportionate impact.
- Strong consumer understanding, with the ability to convert insight into business choices.
- Commercial acumen and comfort with P&L; ownership.
- Exposure to both general trade and quick commerce.
- Experience in communication, content creation, digital marketing or consumer engagement will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, judgement and cross-functional influence.
