Role Description : Procurement Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing of goods and services required for Sukino's healthcare and wellness offerings. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves developing procurement plans, identifying and evaluating suppliers, and managing vendor relationships to support clinical and non-clinical operations. The person in this role will negotiate contracts, monitor compliance with agreed terms, and collaborate with finance and operations teams to align procurement activities with budget and service delivery goals. Daily responsibilities include reviewing purchase requests, analyzing quotations, optimizing inventory levels, and maintaining accurate procurement records and reports.



The Procurement Manager will also contribute to process improvements, risk mitigation, and adherence to organizational policies and relevant regulations.

1. Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective purchasing of medical supplies and equipment. Conduct market research to identify quality suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
2. 2. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery timelines, and pricing. Resolve vendor-related issues to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain.
3. 3. Inventory and Supply Management: Collaborate with inventory managers to monitor stock levels and forecast procurement needs. Ensure timely replenishment of critical medical supplies to avoid shortages.
4. 4. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the procurement budget. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
5. 5. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased products comply with hospital standards, regulatory requirements, and certifications.



Oversee quality inspections and returns for defective items.
6. 6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with clinical departments to understand their requirements and provide necessary resources. Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments and documentation.
7. 7. Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements. Generate reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and savings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Procurement and Supplier Evaluation to manage sourcing decisions and vendor selection effectively.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation and Contract Management skills to secure favorable terms and ensure ongoing compliance with agreements.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess costs, performance data, and market trends for informed procurement decisions.
- Relevant experience in healthcare or service-based industries, particularly in managing multiple vendors and categories, is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and handle time-sensitive requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, commerce, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office tools, along with attention to detail and adherence to ethical and compliance standards.
