Role Description The Academic Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The role involves guiding students and working professionals in selecting suitable academic and career pathways through one-on-one counseling and advisory sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing learner profiles, understanding their goals, recommending appropriate programs, and explaining admission criteria, timelines, and outcomes. The Academic Advisor will maintain accurate records of interactions, follow up with prospective and enrolled learners,



and collaborate with program managers and counselors to ensure a high-quality advisory experience. The role also includes conducting information sessions, responding to inquiries via multiple channels, and contributing to continuous improvement of advisory processes.
Qualifications

- Solid student counseling and academic advising skills to support learners in making informed educational choices.
- Career counseling and education domain knowledge to align programs with learners professional aspirations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and engage diverse learners.
- Ability to work with goals and metrics, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain organized documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic advising, student services, or education counseling, preferably in higher education or edtech.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and online communication platforms used for learner support.
- Demonstrated empathy, ethical practice, and a learner-centered approach to guidance and decision-making.
