About the Role

As a Solution Architect, you will be part of a dedicated architecture team responsible for crafting high-level business and technical solutions. You will contribute across the entire solution development lifecycle, from design through production readiness, while collaborating with global teams including business architects, analysts, and technical stakeholders.

As a Solution Architect, You Shall

Overall Level Responsibilities

- Ensure solutions align with the CorSo Business and Data Architecture blueprint.
- Collect and evaluate ideas to improve and modernize the existing solution architecture landscape.
- Eliminate architectural debt and promote innovation by introducing suitable new methodologies and industry practices.
- Collaborate and share best practices within the solution architecture community.
- Contribute actively to the organizational knowledge pool and innovation pipeline.

Project-Level Responsibilities

- Design technical solutions aligned with CorSo's tech landscape and project portfolio.
- Work closely with business users to create and evaluate technical solution options.
- Prototype and assess emerging technologies for practical implementation.
- Prioritize elegant, efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Create architectural artifacts: data models, BPMN process diagrams,



sequence diagrams, and wireframes.
- Collaborate with architects and present options to Product Owners and stakeholders.
- Partner with delivery teams to scope projects and manage risks effectively.
- Translate accepted solutions into implementable patterns for developers, testers, and analysts.
- Stay Agile—adapt designs without compromising architectural integrity.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and present ideas for peer review (DGF and design challenge sessions).

About You

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- Solid understanding of commercial insurance domain—prior business or project experience is highly valued.
- Expertise in:
- Business process modeling using BPMN 2.0
- Service interaction design via sequence diagrams
- Wireframes and user journey mapping
- UML and architectural modeling tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect)
- Effective communicator—able to articulate design to a range of audiences: developers, architects, business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and tools like Swagger for exploration and documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage tasks independently and set realistic goals.
- Well-versed in Agile methodologies and experienced in multi-locational global teams.
