About the team:

The Global Finance Operations Transformation (GFOT) team in Group Finance is responsible for the financial close process and reporting for the Reinsurance Life & Health (LH) business. This includes all accounting bases – Statutory and IFRS – and involves handling intragroup retrocessions (IGR), external retrocessions, and traditional business. The department is also accountable for the production of IFRS 17 results for both group and local entities.

The team operates out of Zurich, Bratislava, and Bangalore, managing the quarterly close process for IGR LH in Finance Reinsurance.

About the role:

In this role, you will perform various tasks to support the delivery of IFRS 17 results and provide ongoing assistance to existing business-as-usual (BAU) activities. The position offers a degree of autonomy within delegated responsibilities.

Your work will include decision-making within defined areas,



contributing to process improvements, and supporting key financial reporting objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Support end-to-end IGR LH processes for both IFRS and statutory reporting
- Contribute to simplification, automation, and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with teams such as Global Carrier Management, Actuarial, Reinsurance FPA, Regional Reinsurance Finance, and Finance IT

About you:

Technical skills and knowledge:

- CA or CPA with over 8 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience in financial reporting, preferably in the insurance or reinsurance industry
- Familiarity with working in cross-functional teams
- Ability to adapt to change with flexibility and agility
- Eagerness to learn technical systems and tools
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
