Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Professional with 8+ years of post-qualification experience to manage and oversee a broad spectrum of litigation matters. The role involves handling civil, commercial, corporate, regulatory, labor, and criminal litigation, coordinating with external counsels, developing litigation strategies, and ensuring effective representation of the organization's interests before various courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop litigation strategies in consultation with internal stakeholders and external legal counsels.
• Draft, review, and vet pleadings, written statements, affidavits, petitions, appeals, rejoinders, legal notices, and settlement agreements.
• Coordinate and liaise with external advocates, law firms, and consultants for effective case management.
• Represent the organization before courts, tribunals, quasi-judicial bodies, and regulatory authorities where applicable.
• Monitor ongoing litigation and provide periodic status updates to management.
• Assess litigation risks and recommend appropriate legal and commercial solutions.
• Handle pre-litigation disputes, negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
• Ensure timely filing of responses, appeals, and compliance with court directions.
• Maintain litigation records, case trackers, and legal documentation.




• Advise business teams on legal implications arising from disputes and regulatory developments.
• Support internal investigations and dispute resolution initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Compliance, and Business Operations.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council.
• 8+ years of relevant litigation experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or a combination of both.
• Robust knowledge of civil, commercial, corporate, labor, consumer, and regulatory laws.
• Excellent drafting, research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in managing high-value and complex litigation matters.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal databases and litigation management tools.
Preferred Experience
• Experience handling matters before High Courts, District Courts, Tribunals, Consumer Forums, and Regulatory Authorities.
• Exposure to arbitration, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
• Experience in the technology, manufacturing, infrastructure, BFSI, healthcare, or retail sectors will be an added advantage.
