About the Opportunity
A quick-expanding industrial conglomerate operating across manufacturing, infrastructure, and supply chain verticals in India, we’re scaling our procurement function to drive cost efficiency, supplier innovation, and sustainable sourcing across high-volume B2B operations. As a core enabler of our growth engine, this role owns strategic sourcing, vendor governance, and category strategy for critical direct and indirect spend categories — from raw materials to MRO and capital equipment. Role & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end procurement cycles — market analysis, RFx, supplier shortlisting, negotiation, contract finalization — for direct materials and indirect services.
- Develop category strategies for key spend areas (e.g., steel, components, logistics, tools) aligned with production and operational needs.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives; drive cost-down, quality, and delivery compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and operations to align procurement with product design, capex plans,



and inventory goals.
- Implement digital procurement tools and processes (e-procurement, e-auctions, spend analytics) to enhance transparency and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory norms (GST, contract law), and ESG/sustainability sourcing standards.
