ABOUT THE ROLE:

Company is seeking a technically accomplished Senior Oracle PaaS Developer to join its Oracle practice. In this individual contributor role, you will design, build, and optimize Oracle Platform-as-a-Service solutions across Integration Cloud, Visual Builder, Analytics Cloud, Process Automation, and Autonomous Database — delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that underpin our clients' digital transformation programs.

Equally at home in Fusion Applications customization — including BIP reporting, FBDI/HDL data loads, Fast Formula, and sandbox configuration — you bring a balanced combination of platform engineering and application expertise that enables end-to-end solutioning for enterprise and government clients across Qatar and the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Integration & Platform Development:

– Design and develop integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) — REST/SOAP adapters, orchestration patterns, error handling, monitoring, and scheduled processes

– Build web and mobile applications on Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), including SPA design, REST service binding, and business object modeling





– Develop and automate business processes using Oracle Process Automation (OPA) — structured workflows, approval flows, dynamic tasks, and decision model integration

– Design, provision, and develop on Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW) — SQL/PLSQL development, REST-enabled schemas, data pipelines, and performance tuning

– Implement integration security best practices — OAuth 2.0, JWT, certificate management, and role-based access within OIC and VBCS

Analytics, Reporting & OTBI:

– Develop Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) reports and analyses — subject area navigation, custom report design, prompts, and drill-down hierarchies

– Build Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) dashboards, KPI scorecards, and data visualizations aligned to business requirements

– Model and maintain the RPD (metadata repository) layer — logical and physical model extensions, LTS definitions, and calculated measures

– Create pixel-perfect BIP (BI Publisher) reports for operational and statutory outputs, including scheduled delivery and burst configurations

– Develop and maintain Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) subject areas and augmentations where applicable

Fusion Applications Customization:

– Deliver Oracle Fusion HCM and ERP customizations — sandbox configuration, page composer, Application Composer, and flexfield extensions

– Develop and maintain Fast Formula scripts for payroll, absence, and benefits calculations within Oracle HCM Cloud

– Design and execute data migration strategies using FBDI (File-Based Data Import) and HDL (HCM Data Loader) toolsets

– Build and maintain Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) skills and dialogue flows integrated with Fusion applications

– Conduct technical impact assessments for quarterly Oracle Fusion patch releases and manage regression validation

Quality, Documentation & Collaboration:

– Produce technical design documents, integration specifications, data mapping sheets, and unit test plans





– Participate in peer code and design reviews; enforce development standards and best practices across the Oracle practice

– Support pre-sales and solution scoping activities — effort estimation, technical feasibility, and architecture inputs

– Work collaboratively with functional consultants, architects, and client technical teams throughout delivery

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

– 10+ years of hands-on Oracle technology development experience, with at least 5 years on Oracle Cloud PaaS

– Proven delivery experience across OIC, VBCS, OAC/OTBI, OPA, and ADB in a consulting or enterprise environment

– Demonstrated Fusion Applications customization experience — BIP, Fast Formula, FBDI/HDL, sandbox, and Application Composer

– Experience developing solutions for Oracle HCM Cloud and/or Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials, Procurement, or Supply Chain)

Technical Skills:

– OIC: integration development, connectivity framework, adapters (REST, SOAP, FTP, DB, HCM), error handling, and monitoring

– VBCS: SPA and PWA development, REST/SOAP service integration, custom components, and role-based security

– OAC / OTBI: report and dashboard development, RPD modeling, subject area customization, and data flows

– OPA: process modeling, approval workflows, decision tables, and REST-triggered automation

– ADB: SQL/PLSQL, ORDS (REST-enabling schemas), performance tuning, and Autonomous Data Warehouse development

– Fusion: BIP report templates (RTF, XSL-FO), Fast Formula syntax, FBDI templates, HDL object types, ODA dialogue flows

– Strong grasp of REST, JSON, XML, XSLT, and OAuth 2.0 security standards

Certifications:

– Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration 2023 Certified Professional — required

– At least one additional Oracle Cloud certification (OAC, VBCS, ADB, or Fusion) is required

– Further Oracle certifications are highly advantageous.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

– Experience with Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) and augmentation datasets

– Familiarity with Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) — channel configuration and NLP training

– Exposure to Oracle SOA Suite or Oracle B2B for legacy integration scenarios

– Knowledge of CI/CD practices for Oracle PaaS — Git, Oracle DevCS, or equivalent pipeline tooling

– Industry background in Government, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Utilities sectors

– Oracle APEX development experience as an additional low-code capability
