1. Consultant Retina Surgeon

Qualification:

• MS/DNB Ophthalmology

• Fellowship in Medical/Surgical Retina – Mandatory

2. Consultant Cataract Surgeon

Qualification:

• MS/DNB Ophthalmology

• Fellowship in Phaco Cataract Surgery – Mandatory

Registration

• Valid MMC / State Medical Council Registration

Experience

• Minimum 3 Years of Post-Fellowship Experience – Mandatory

Key Responsibilities

Retina Surgeon

• Diagnose and manage retinal disorders

• Perform Vitrectomy, Retinal Laser, Intravitreal Injections, and other retinal procedures

• Manage diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, macular diseases, and other vitreoretinal conditions

• Conduct OPD consultations and surgical interventions independently

Cataract Surgeon

• Perform high-volume Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgeries independently

• Manage routine and complicated cataract cases





• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up

• Deliver high-quality patient care with excellent surgical outcomes

Skills Required

• Strong clinical and surgical expertise in the respective specialty

• Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills

• Good communication and patient counselling abilities

• Qualified, ethical, and patient-centric approach

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the ophthalmology team
