Ensure timely communication between surgeons, nephrologists, ICU teams, and OT staff. Ensure compliance with the Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act (THOTA). Maintain all records required for audits and statutory submissions. Participate in inspections and regulatory reviews. Provide emotional support, education, and clarity to families throughout the transplant journey. Update families regarding transplant procedures, risks, and follow-up care requirements. Track post-transplant follow-up appointments and recovery progress. Coordinate with clinicians for ongoing patient management. Participate in hospital organ donation awareness programs. Assist in training internal staff on transplant processes and guidelines.
