Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.

Job Purpose: The Construction Civil Senior Team Member assists the Construction Civil Lead in executing and managing civil infrastructure projects, ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and completion of civil works. This role focuses on overseeing the quality and timely delivery of civil infrastructure, supporting internal teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Senior Team Member plays a critical role in aligning civil execution with overall project objectives and addressing any challenges to facilitate seamless project progress.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering

Work Experience (Range of years):





Minimum of 7-12 years in the execution of various civil jobs

Hands-on experience handling similar projects of the same kind

Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) and negotiating with large-scale, high-value vendors

Construction Civil Senior Team Member-PETCHEM

Site Operations Oversight:

Ensure the effective planning and execution of civil infrastructure, including land preparation, building construction, and fabrication structures.

Monitor and track progress of civil jobs, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time and issues are addressed promptly to maintain project schedules.

Project Planning Coordination:

Develop and implement detailed plans for civil works, coordinating with various internal teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) to ensure alignment and timely execution.

Facilitate coordination between teams to ensure that civil infrastructure supports overall project goals and integrates seamlessly with other disciplines.

Technical Design Review:

Review and validate civil design specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements and technical standards.

Provide technical feedback and recommendations to the Construction Civil Lead for improving design and execution strategies.

Compliance, Quality Safety Management:

Oversee the quality of precast structures and ensure that all civil work complies with required standards and regulations.

Implement and monitor safety procedures to ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate risks during civil execution.

Budget Cost Control:





Assist in identifying and selecting competent vendors for civil execution jobs, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement.

Review and report on technical specifications provided by vendors, collaborating with the Lead Civil Engineer to ensure alignment with project requirements.

Verify and process contract bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance before submission to the contracts and cost control departments.

Risk Change Management:

Conduct site inspections to verify material quality and address any discrepancies or issues identified.

Manage risks related to civil works by identifying potential issues early and implementing corrective actions to mitigate impact on project timelines and quality.

Team Management:

Support and guide execution engineers and team members by providing technical inputs and resolving issues encountered during civil works.

Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team to drive performance and achieve project objectives.

Commissioning, Handover Post-construction Support:

Ensure timely completion and quality of civil structures, facilitating their handover to subsequent teams for piping, EI jobs, and other activities.

Address any post-construction issues and provide support for the transition of completed civil works to operational status.
