Mesha is building the world's largest mutton company by industrialising goats' genetics and breeding. We are a technology company with four pillars: genetics, breeding, software and hardware.

Our ambition is to become the world's largest mutton company. A category we are not joining; we are creating it. By deploying cutting edge genetic science through purpose built, highly controlled environments, we are engineering to produce consistent, premium mutton at a scale that has never existed in the global market.

Behind this vision stands an unconventional founding trio: a Computer Science PhD, a IIIT dropout, and a self made billionaire, all driven by the pursuit of the same goal. Before building these industrial goat parks, we operated as one of the largest live goat traders in India, gaining an inside out knowledge of the industry that became the very foundation for Mesha. Today, backed by some of India's most prominent business figures, we operate the largest such parks in the country.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Health Director who can take complete ownership of the clinical health outcomes of our goat population diagnosis, treatment, disease control, and herd-level health strategy across our parks. The ideal candidate is aware of animal veterinarian with hands-on large-animal or livestock experience, sharp clinical judgement, and the ability to build and lead a team of field vets and para-vets across multiple sites. You should be comfortable making quick, high-stakes calls on animal health with zero tolerance for negligence,



and equally comfortable building the reporting and diagnostic systems that scale beyond your own hands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own the health outcomes of the entire goat population across all Mesha parks.
- Diagnose and manage disease outbreaks, injuries, and health emergencies.
- Design and implement herd health protocols vaccination schedules, deworming, disease surveillance, quarantine and isolation procedures.
- Investigate mortality and morbidity events; identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain medical records, treatment logs, and health documentation per SOP.
- Coordinate with breeding and farm operations teams to align health protocols with genetics and productivity goals.
- Manage relationships with veterinary suppliers, diagnostic labs, and external specialists.
- Prepare health reports, mortality/morbidity analysis, and budgets for leadership.
- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance on animal health and drug usage.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This is not a role where you simply treat sick animals as they come in. You will build the health function of an industrial-scale goat operation systems, teams, and protocols that keep the herd healthy without you having to be everywhere at once.

COMPENSATION

The Health Director will be paid a monthly inhand salary upto 75,000.
