About the Role - Senior Billing AR Specialist

In this role, you will be part of a high-performing global finance team responsible for driving Xactly s Order-to-Cash cycle. Based in Bangalore, India, and reporting directly to our Revenue Manager (Bangalore), you will partner cross-functionally across Sales, Customer Success, Collections, and IT to ensure accurate, timely invoicing according to key customer contract terms, lead pre-collections initiatives, and manage high-value customer account relationships.

What You ll Do

- Manage Order-to-Cash Workflows: Analyze and approve customer sales orders, set up complex contracts and billing schedules, and generate timely, accurate invoices in alignment with contractual terms.

- Lead Pre-Collections Dispute Resolution: Proactively engage with global customer accounts prior to due dates to resolve billing inquiries, mitigate downstream collection issues, and ensure predictable cash flow.

- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with global Sales, Customer Success, IT,



and Professional Services teams to resolve complex customer billing scenarios and streamline operational processes.

- Optimize Billing Operations: Identify process bottlenecks across the billing and receivables lifecycle, propose actionable automation/efficiency improvements, and support global audit and compliance objectives.

What We re Looking For

Must-Have Skills

- 5-8 years of progressive experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, or Order-to-Cash operations, ideally supporting enterprise SaaS or global MNC clients.

- Demonstrated expertise in sales order review, contract analysis, billing schedule setup, and complex invoicing mechanics.

- Strong customer-facing orientation with a customer-driven, collaborative, and business-oriented mindset.

- Clear, professional communication skills and English fluency with proven ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and time zones.

- Exceptional analytical capability, detail orientation, and task prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Hands-on experience using Workday ERP, Salesforce CRM, or enterprise billing software.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, complex formulas) for data reconciliation.

- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (MBA Finance / M.Com a plus).
