We are looking for a mid-level professional to join our Sourcing team for our corporate bond sourcing platform. This role sits at the center of every new bond issuance acting as the primary coordination point between the issuer, internal stakeholders (risk, accounts, management), and the platform.
Key Responsibilities
1. Issuer & Deal Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact between the issuer and the platform for every current bond issuance.
Coordinate timelines, documentation flow, and communication between the issuer, arrangers/merchant bankers (if any), and internal teams.
Track deal status end-to-end and proactively flag delays or gaps to relevant stakeholders.
Negotiate pricing/coupon rates with issuers, benchmarking against prevailing market levels and comparable issuances, and escalate to management where needed to close the deal on favourable terms.
2. Document Collection & Coordination for Risk Analysis
¢ Collect, organize, and validate all issuer documents required for credit/risk analysis (financials, rating rationale, information memorandum, board resolutions, KYC, past issuance data, etc.).
¢ Liaise with the issuer to obtain missing information, clarifications, or additional disclosures requested by the risk/credit team.
¢ Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time while the actual risk assessment remains the responsibility of the risk team.
3. Instrument Understanding (Cashflows, Term Sheet, Covenants)
¢ Read and interpret term sheets, cashflow schedules (coupon dates, redemption structure, day-count conventions), and covenant packages with clarity.
¢ Identify and flag any unusual, ambiguous, or investor-unfriendly terms/covenants for review by risk/legal/management.




¢ Coordinate with the issuer/legal counsel on term sheet finalization and any redlining or clarification cycles.
4. Internal Coordination Accounts & Fund Arrangement
¢ Coordinate with the Accounts/Treasury team to ensure timely fund arrangement for primary purchase of the security.
¢ Share settlement details, payment schedules, and deal-specific fund requirements with accounts well in advance of settlement date.
¢ Track fund flow status and resolve any last-mile issues before settlement.
5. Management Approvals
¢ Prepare deal summaries/notes and coordinate with management to obtain necessary approvals for purchasing the security in the primary market.
¢ Ensure all approval workflows are completed within issuance timelines.
¢ Maintain proper records of approvals for audit/compliance purposes.
6. Post-Approval & Settlement Support
¢ Coordinate with issuer, custodian/depository, and internal teams for allotment, ISIN activation, and settlement processes.
¢ Ensure all regulatory and platform-specific disclosures/filings related to the issuance are tracked and completed.
¢ Maintain issuance trackers/MIS for ongoing and completed deals.
7. General Responsibilities
¢ Own the overall coordination workflow for each issuance issuer, risk, accounts, management, and operations ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
¢ Build and maintain strong working relationships with issuers, merchant bankers, and internal stakeholders for repeat business.
¢ Support process improvements to make issuance coordination faster and more efficient.




¢ Undertake any other responsibilities as required to support the sourcing function and successful closure of issuances.
8. Market Feedback & Intelligence
¢ Track all primary bond issuances happening across the market on a real-time/near real-time basis issuer, tenor, structure, and other key deal parameters.
¢ Track rates/coupons/spreads being offered and closed across issuances to build a live sense of pricing benchmarks by issuer category, rating, and tenor.
¢ Track market participants who is arranging, investing in, or leading which issuances to understand competitive positioning and investor appetite.
¢ Maintain a market intelligence tracker/MIS and share regular updates and insights with management and the sourcing team to inform pricing and origination strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
¢ Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field; MBA/CA/CFA (or pursuing) preferred.
¢ 24 years of experience in debt capital markets, bond sourcing/origination, fixed income operations, or related treasury/DCM roles.
¢ Solid working knowledge of bond structures cashflows, coupon/redemption mechanics, term sheets etc.
¢ Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills comfortable working across issuers, internal risk teams, accounts, and management.
¢ High attention to detail and ownership mindset for documentation accuracy and timeline adherence.
¢ Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data trackers/MIS.
