- Arrange trucks (FTL/PTL) as per customer dispatch requirements on a Pan India basis.
- Source and deploy vehicles through a strong network of transporters, fleet owners, and brokers.
- Negotiate freight rates to ensure cost-effective transportation while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure timely vehicle placement to meet customer delivery schedules and commitments.
- Coordinate with customers, transporters, warehouses, branches, and internal operations teams for seamless execution.
- Monitor vehicle movement and proactively resolve delays or operational issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with transporters and expand the vendor network across India.
- Track freight market trends, truck availability, and regional demand to optimize vehicle sourcing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory transportation requirements, and documentation.
- Prepare daily MIS reports on truck placement, freight costs, pending loads, transporter performance, and operational KPIs.




- Handle urgent and time-sensitive shipment requirements efficiently.
- Work towards maximizing vehicle utilization, minimizing freight costs, and improving customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

- 10th / 12th pass / Graduate.
- 5-10 years of relevant proven experience in truck placement and freight procurement across India.
- Strong network of transporters, fleet owners, and logistics vendors.
- Excellent freight negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Sound knowledge of transportation routes, market freight rates, and logistics operations.
- Robust communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customer requirements simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Transport Management Systems (TMS) is preferred.
