Role & responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Develop and update working drawings, tender drawings, and good-for-construction (GFC) sets.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
- Modify and revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant inputs.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and authority requirements.
- Prepare detailed joinery, furniture, and interior execution drawings where required.
- Assist in preparing submission drawings for statutory approvals and client presentations.
- Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and revision control.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify execution and resolve drawing-related issues.
- Support in quantity take-offs and basic BOQ preparation when needed.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture,
Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural drafting within a consultancy or design firm, with exposure to residential and commercial projects.
- Solid knowledge of architectural construction methods, detailing, and project documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); working knowledge of Revit preferred.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, basic 3D visualization tools, Microsoft Office (Excel & Word), and BIM workflows is an added advantage.
