Head Operational Excellence (Kaizen & Continuous Improvement)

Role Purpose

SteamHouse is seeking an experienced leader to establish and drive a culture of Operational Excellence across the organization. This role is not limited to implementing Kaizen methodologiesit is about becoming a trusted advisor to every department, continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency

Work closely with employees across all functions and locations, building strong relationships and earning the confidence of teams through experience, practical guidance, and a collaborative approach. By spending time with departments, understanding their day-to-day challenges, and encouraging open dialogue, the role will help simplify processes, remove bottlenecks, improve coordination, and foster a culture where continuous improvement becomes part of everyday work.

Role & responsibilities

- Spend significant time understanding departmental operations, workflows, and day-to-day challenges through regular interaction and observation.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, eliminate inefficiencies, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across both operational and business functions.
- Facilitate Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives by working collaboratively with departments rather than through compliance-driven approaches.
- Encourage employees at all levels to share ideas, participate in problem-solving, and contribute to organizational improvement.
- Work alongside department heads to implement practical,



sustainable improvements that support business objectives.
- Promote standardization, knowledge sharing, and adoption of best practices throughout the organization.
- Support management in driving organizational change while maintaining strong employee engagement and trust.
- Monitor the progress of improvement initiatives and ensure successful implementation through regular follow-up and collaboration.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning across the organization.

Experience & Skills

- 20+ years of leadership experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing, Utilities, Engineering, Industrial Operations, Business Excellence, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives and influencing teams across different levels of an organization.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and building consensus to drive meaningful organizational change.
- Solid understanding of Kaizen, Lean principles, process improvement methodologies, and organizational development.
- Strong observation, analytical thinking, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence without relying on formal authority and to guide teams through collaboration and coaching.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution and drive improvements that create measurable business value.
