Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll operations for employees working across mining and construction project sites. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of payroll processing, statutory compliances, site attendance reconciliation, and labor wage regulations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for corporate and site employees.
- Reconcile site attendance, timesheets, and manpower records with payroll data.
- Ensure accurate processing of salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, and final settlements.
- Prepare and issue Form 16 and manage annual payroll compliance activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, wage regulations, and statutory requirements for mining and construction sites.
- Handle statutory compliances including:
- Provident Fund (PF)
- Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC)
- Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
- Professional Tax (PT)
- Labour Welfare and other applicable statutory deductions





- Coordinate with site HR, project managers, and finance teams for attendance, payroll inputs, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain payroll records and generate MIS reports for management.
- Support statutory audits and respond to compliance-related queries.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and adherence to payroll deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in mining, infrastructure, EPC, or construction industries.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and MS Excel.
- Thorough understanding of PF, ESIC, TDS, Professional Tax (PT), Form 16, and other payroll compliances.
- Familiarity with labour laws, wage regulations, and statutory requirements applicable to mining and construction sites.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and communication skills.
