Position : Senior Finance Manager

Department: Finance and Accounts

Reports to : CFO or Director - Finance

Location : Gurugram (Onsite)

Industry: Preferably in retail, FMCG, or similar consumer-facing industries.

Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience after post-qualification (CA)

Education : Chartered Accountant (CA) is Mandatory

Job Summary: The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for driving financial control, compliance, and reporting for Retail brand, while acting as a key business partner to leadership. The role requires solid technical accounting knowledge, sharp analytical skills, and the ability to manage a team while working closely with senior management, auditors, and external stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Financial Closing: Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- MIS & Reporting: Prepare and analyze MIS reports, budgets, and variance analysis for management review
- Statutory Compliance: Manage statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings
- Audit Management: Oversee internal controls and coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit observations
- Treasury & Cash Flow: Drive cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury operations




- Business Partnering: Support business teams with financial insights for pricing, cost control, and profitability improvement
- Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities
- Books of Accounts: Ensure accurate books of accounts in line with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS)
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance and accounts executives
- Fundraising & Banking: Support fundraising, banking relationships, and credit facility management as required
- Systems & Process Improvement: Assist in implementing and improving ERP/financial systems and processes
- Governance & Risk: Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and risk management frameworks

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, direct and indirect taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage a team and work under tight deadlines in a quick- paced environment.
- High degree of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.
- 3 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounts, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Prior experience managing statutory compliance, audits, and MIS reporting in a corporate setup will be strongly preferred.

Working days : 6 days a week (however 2nd and 4th Saturday are off)

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Flexible 9 hours working day shifts)

Package: 15.00 to 20.00 LPA
