Job Description

We are looking for a skilled GCP Data Engineer with robust experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in building data pipelines, data warehousing, data integration, and big data processing using GCP services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines on GCP.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation.
- Develop and manage data lakes and data warehouses using BigQuery.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality and governance.
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
- Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices across GCP environments.




- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and platform-related issues.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Hands-on experience with:
- BigQuery
- Cloud Dataflow
- Cloud Composer
- Pub/Sub
- Cloud Storage
- Dataproc
- Cloud Functions

- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or Java.
- Experience with ETL/ELT development and data integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and database concepts.
- Experience with workflow orchestration and scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of data security and governance principles.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with real-time and batch data processing.
- Certifications in Google Cloud Platform are preferred.
