WBD Sports encompasses a wide range of sports brands and channels, reaching over 130 million people monthly in more than 200 markets and 20+ languages. Roles Responsibilities:
As we continue to grow and innovate in a fast-paced, highly-competitive digital environment, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (iOS) who will be a key member of the WBD Global Sports Tech team, responsible for building and maintaining systems supporting Warner Bros. Discovery s family of Sports products/brands, including Eurosport, NCAA/MML, and Bleacher Report. As a recognized subject-matter expert for one or more of our production iOS systems, you will independently ship high-quality features while working closely with product/project managers, users, development staff, and senior leadership to implement designs, develop and deploy fan-facing solutions.

- Independently ship high-quality, complex features across one or more production iOS systems as a recognized subject-matter expert, helping drive clarity by defining problems proactively.

- Devise solutions from limited information and precedent, using sound judgment to drive implementations autonomously with work reviewed at critical points.

- Build and maintain highly available, low-latency systems that serve sports content to customers in production, and own the long-term health of your code, monitoring, alerting, and documentation.

- Integrate service health, monitoring, alerting and documentation capabilities in parallel to your software development deliverables.

- Influence peers persuasively through code and design reviews, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and adjacent teams, adapting your style to different audiences.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies with strong ownership of work throughout the sprint, while helping create an inclusive and supportive engineering culture.





- Help newcomers become productive with the team s processes and optimize team mechanisms to drive efficiency.

- Tech Stack: Swift, SwiftUI

- Development Practices: TDD, pair programming, code reviews, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)

- Deployment: Automated using Github Actions, Firebase App Distribution

- Technologies Used: GraphQL backend, dependency injection, async programming

- Agile Practices: Dailies, story detailing, planning, retrospectives
