Role & responsibilities

- Lead, guide and develop HR Heads across all Star Group businesses and locations.
- Develop and execute the Group HR strategy aligned with Vision 2030 and business growth plans.
- Build a strong internal talent pipeline through cross-functional learning, internal promotions and career growth.
- Attract, recruit and retain quality talent across all levels; strengthen apprenticeship and trainee programmes.
- Build future leaders through succession planning, coaching, training and capability development.
- Drive a high-performance culture through goal setting, performance appraisals and accountability.
- Lead HR standardization and digital transformation through HRMS, automation, analytics and dashboards.
- Ensure timely salaries, incentives and statutory benefits including PF, ESI and gratuity.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, licences and HR governance.
- Develop technical, managerial and leadership training programmes and strengthen Star Group as an employer of choice.

Preferred candidate profile

- 15-20+ years of HR leadership experience in large, multi-location organizations.




- Strong experience in recruitment, talent development, performance management and employee engagement.
- Positive knowledge of labour laws, HR operations, payroll, statutory compliance and employee advantages.
- Proven experience building strong teams, developing future leaders and supporting organizational growth.
- Good understanding of IT, HRMS, automation and HR reporting systems.
- MBA / PGDM in HR, Business Management, IT or equivalent, with solid leadership and people-management skills
