Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Test Engineer with strong expertise across the full functional testing lifecycle, including System Testing (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the UK Pensions and Investments domain, coupled with hands-on experience of the FNZ platform.

This role requires an individual who can rapidly integrate into the team and become productive with minimal handholding. While appropriate support and guidance will be available when required, the successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to quickly understand business and technical requirements, navigate complex delivery environments, and independently drive testing activities to successful completion.

Key Expectations

- Take ownership of end-to-end testing activities, including test design, test preparation, test execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Leverage existing FNZ platform knowledge and UK Pensions/Investments expertise to proactively identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Operate as a hands-on practitioner who is ready to "roll up their sleeves" and actively contribute to delivery rather than relying solely on coordination or oversight.
- Demonstrate strong leading capabilities, whether working as an individual contributor or leading a small team of test professionals.
- Excellent knowledge of JIRA, XRAY, Confluence, working knowledge of test automation tool -Playwright to contribute to test automation activities as required will be desirable
- Drive accountability, quality,



and delivery outcomes, ensuring commitments are met without the need for constant intervention, escalation, or follow-up.
- Build credibility with business and technology stakeholders through expertise, ownership, and delivery excellence.
