; Job Description Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA) Engineer:

; Key Responsibilities

- ;Perform incoming inspection of raw materials bought-out parts as per inspection plans and specifications.

- ;Verify supplier material test certificates and other quality documents.

- ;Conduct dimensional visual inspections using appropriate measuring instruments.

- ;Review incoming inspection records and maintain traceability of inspected materials.

- ;Identify, segregate and control non-conforming materials.

- ;Communicate quality issues to suppliers and coordinate corrective actions to ensure the quality of regular supply parts.

- ;Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities with suppliers.

- ;Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards and internal procedures.

- ;Monitor calibration status of inspection and measuring equipment.

- ;Maintain quality records and prepare inspection reports.

- ;Coordinate with suppliers to obtain and review Layout Inspection Plans for critical components.

- ;Perform Layout Inspection for critical parts to ensure part conformity Corrections.

; Required Skills

- ;Knowledge of quality tools and inspection techniques.

- ;Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

- ;Knowledge of GDT and engineering drawings.





- ;Ability to select appropriate gauges and instruments based on drawing requirements.

- ;Understanding of material specifications and testing requirements.

- ;Aware of general manufacturing processes standards.

- ;Knowledge of defect identification and classification.

- ;B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical / Production.
