About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant with hands-on experience in Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Finance. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Standard Costing, Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, Inventory Valuation, BOM Costing, Cost Analysis, Variance Analysis, Budgeting, and Profitability Analysis, while supporting business decisions through accurate cost information and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end cost accounting activities for manufacturing or product-based businesses.
- Develop, maintain, and review Standard Costing models.
- Analyse material, labour, overhead, and production costs.
- Perform Inventory Valuation, inventory reconciliations, and inventory cost analysis.
- Prepare Product Costing, BOM Costing, and profitability analysis.
- Perform Cost Variance Analysis and investigate cost deviations.
- Support inventory-related Month-End and Year-End Close activities.
- Prepare cost reports, MIS reports, and management analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning activities.
- Work closely with production, procurement, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, costing standards, and internal controls.




- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and costing.
- Identify opportunities to improve costing methodologies and reporting efficiency.

Key Software

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

- SAP
- SAP FICO
- Oracle
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Infor
- JD Edwards

Experience with other ERP or costing systems will also be considered.

Qualifications & Skills

- Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CMA, CA, or candidates pursuing professional qualifications will be preferred.
- 3-8 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, or Management Accounting.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or product-based industries preferred.
- Robust understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory accounting, and manufacturing finance.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
