Senior Manager / Manager - Laboratory Operations

Location: Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai (Managed by Reliance Foundation Hospital)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Operations skilled to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a multi-speciality hospital laboratory, ensuring operational excellence, quality compliance, patient satisfaction, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end laboratory operations across Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Histopathology, and other diagnostic services.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, NABL/NABH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational efficiency, turnaround time (TAT) compliance, and service excellence.
- Manage laboratory manpower, equipment, consumables, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Monitor departmental performance through MIS, quality indicators, and operational dashboards.
- Collaborate with clinicians, nursing, infection control, and hospital operations teams.
- Lead quality improvement, automation, and process optimization initiatives.
- Manage departmental budgets, productivity, and revenue performance.





Candidate Profile

- Master's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- MBA Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management preferred.
- 8-15 years of experience in hospital laboratory operations, including team leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in NABL-accredited laboratories and large multi-speciality hospitals preferred.
