Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Application Support Engineer with a strong background in the Banking domain to provide L2/L3 production support for critical applications. The ideal candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting skills, strong database knowledge, monitoring expertise, and outstanding communication abilities to interact with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide application support, incident management, and production monitoring for banking applications.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues within defined SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor application performance using Dynatrace or equivalent monitoring tools.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
- Support release deployments, change requests, and production validations.




- Prepare operational reports and maintain support documentation.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of experience in Application/Production Support.
- Mandatory experience in the Banking domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with databases:
- Oracle
- MS SQL Server
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- MongoDB
- Redis

- Experience with Dynatrace (preferred) or equivalent monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Recent Relic, or ELK.
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment if required.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
- Exposure to APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
- ITIL process knowledge/certification.
