Position Overview

Intelex Systems is looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our engineering team in Hyderabad and contribute to the continued development of Fleetly, our advanced fleet management, video telematics and connected vehicle platform.

This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in C#/.NET, TCP/IP server development, multi-threaded systems, real-time data processing and Azure cloud services. You will work on high-performance backend services that communicate with vehicle tracking devices, cameras, IoT hardware and cloud infrastructure.

As a senior member of the Fleetly engineering team, you will help design and build critical platform components including real-time telemetry ingestion, device communication protocols, video telematics services, alert processing, cloud integrations and scalable backend APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and maintain high-performance backend services using C# and .NET.
- Build and optimise TCP/IP server communication modules for real-time data exchange with IoT devices, telematics units and edge hardware.
- Develop reliable multi-threaded and asynchronous applications capable of handling high-volume concurrent device connections.
- Integrate backend services with Azure IoT Hub, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Functions, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB and Azure SQL.
- Design and implement APIs for device data ingestion, processing, reporting and platform communication.
- Work on real-time vehicle tracking, event processing, video telematics workflows and connected device management.
- Analyse device protocols, decode payloads and implement proprietary or industry-standard communication stacks.
- Collaborate with hardware teams, cloud architects, QA engineers, frontend developers and product stakeholders.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability and observability across platform services.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews and code reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and promote strong engineering practices within the team.
- Implement appropriate logging, diagnostics, monitoring,



exception handling and automated testing.
- Support release readiness, defect resolution and production issue analysis when required.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- 4+ years of professional backend development experience using C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework.
- Solid experience in TCP/IP socket programming, TCP servers and device communication services.
- Excellent understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, asynchronous programming and background processing.
- Experience building high-throughput, low-latency and resilient server-side applications.
- Practical experience with Azure services such as:

- Azure IoT Hub
- Event Hubs
- Azure Functions
- Service Bus
- Blob Storage
- Cosmos DB
- Azure SQL
- Application Insights

- Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems and cloud-based application architecture.
- Experience with device or machine integration protocols such as MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, TCP binary protocols or proprietary data protocols.
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs, background workers, message queues and data processing pipelines.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, secure and well-documented code.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing and debugging complex production issues.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control and modern development workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desirable Skills

Experience in any of the following areas would be a strong advantage:

- Fleet management, telematics, vehicle tracking or automotive IoT platforms.
- Video telematics, dashcam integrations, MDVRs or connected camera systems.
- Azure Cosmos DB performance tuning, partitioning and RU optimisation.
- Real-time messaging using WebSockets, SignalR, gRPC or MQTT.
- Data compression, binary protocol decoding or high-volume telemetry processing.




- Docker, Kubernetes or containerised service deployments.
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Application Insights, Grafana or Azure Monitor.
- Security best practices for cloud services, APIs and connected devices.
- AI/ADAS/DMS or driver safety technology experience.
