Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Outsourcing Engineer to manage supplier development, vendor sourcing, and procurement activities for aerospace tooling and precision components. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of aerospace tooling, vendor management, engineering drawings, and cost optimization while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, develop, and qualify suppliers for aerospace tooling, tools & moulds, and precision machined components.
- Conduct supplier assessments, capability evaluations, and vendor audits.
- Float RFQs, obtain quotations, and perform commercial and technical evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of components.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications,



and technical requirements before procurement.
- Ensure suppliers comply with aerospace quality standards and customer specifications.
- Track purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and resolve delivery or quality issues.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, and Planning teams for smooth execution of outsourced activities.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier database, and MIS reports.
- Utilize SAP/ERP systems for procurement transactions and reporting.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of aerospace tooling, tools & moulds, and precision machining.
- Experience in vendor development and supplier management.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Hands-on experience in RFQ management, quotation analysis, and cost negotiation.
- Knowledge of machining processes, manufacturing methods, and quality requirements.
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
