Purpose/Objective

To ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency of all blade manufacturing machinery and utilities through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices, thereby supporting production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements in the Blade Manufacturing Plant.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Maintenance Planning & Execution - Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for blade manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure minimum downtime of critical production assets through effective maintenance planning.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly maintenance schedules in coordination with production teams.
- Monitor equipment health and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
Equipment Reliability Management - Maintain high availability of blade manufacturing machinery including: - Resin infusion systems - Mold handling systems - Vacuum systems - Cranes & material handling equipment - Trimming and finishing machines - HVAC and environmental control systems - Compressed air systems - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Drive MTBF improvement and MTTR reduction initiatives.
Utilities & Infrastructure Maintenance - Ensure productive operation of utilities supporting blade manufacturing processes.
- Monitor performance of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate shutdown maintenance and plant overhauls.
TPM & Continuous Improvement - Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices across Blade Manufacturing.
- Drive Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing,



and OEE improvement projects.
- Develop maintenance SOPs and standard work procedures.
- Support Industry 4.
0 and digital maintenance initiatives.
Spare Parts & Cost Management - Maintain optimum inventory of critical spares.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through standardization and vendor development.
- Monitor maintenance budgets and control expenditure.
Safety, Quality & Compliance - Ensure compliance with Adani EHS standards and statutory requirements.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments for maintenance activities.
- Ensure implementation of LOTO procedures and safe work permits.
- Support ISO, quality, and manufacturing excellence audits.
Team Management - Supervise engineers, technicians, and contract workforce.
- Drive capability building and technical training programs.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, safety, and accountability.

Technical Competencies

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance,Electrical Maintenance,PLC & Automation Systems,SAP PM / ERP Maintenance Modules

Qualifications and Experience

Essential - B.
E.
/B.
Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering Preferred - Certification in TPM, Reliability Engineering, Condition Monitoring, Six Sigma, or Maintenance Management Experience - 6 to 8 years of experience in Maintenance within manufacturing industries.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a supervisory/lead role.
- Preferred experience in: - Wind Blade Manufacturing - Composite Manufacturing - Aerospace - Heavy Engineering - Automotive Manufacturing - Renewable Energy Equipment Manufacturing
