What’s the Role?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .Net Lead Developer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience to join our Software Development team. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable Windows-based applications and APIs using .Net Framework. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in C#, .Net, and Windows Services, coupled with a solid understanding of Entity Framework and SQL Server. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities / Duties

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using .NET (C# .NET WPF, WinUI, ASP.NET Core), Web API.
2. Architect and implement robust system-level designs, prioritizing maintainability, scalability, performance, and security.
3. Collaborate effectively with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver user-centric solutions.
4. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
5. Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure high code quality across the entire development team.

Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical direction and fostering skill growth.
7. Design and optimize database schemas, specifically for SQL Server.
8. Participate actively in DevOps and CI/CD processes to streamline deployment and delivery.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both production and development environments.
10. Demonstrate solid debugging skills and the ability to work independently, taking full ownership of tasks.
11. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Criteria for the Role!

The successful candidate must have 8+ years of hands-on development experience and strong expertise in:

1. Technology Stack: C# .NET / .NET Core
2. Architecture: Solid understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM/MVC, microservices, event-driven communication)
3. Performance & Security: Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization
4. APIs: Experience with REST APIs / Web Services
5. Database: Proficiency in database design and optimization (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
6. DevOps: Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
7. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor team members in technical design and development practices
8. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

1. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
2. Familiarity with web-based front-end technologies (React, Angular etc)
3. Familiarity with customer success tools (e.g., Gainsight, Totango, Salesforce)
