Role & responsibilities
10+ years of experience with FinOps data models, cost and usage normalization, and financial data semantics.
Hands-on experience implementing or governing FOCUS-aligned schemas (1.1 and 1.3).
Ability to reason about schema evolution, compatibility, and downstream consumer impact.
Data Architecture Lineage:
Proven ability to document field-level lineage and origin traceability.
Experience mapping raw telemetry into normalized, analytics-ready schemas.
Familiarity with structured data modeling concepts used in enterprise data platforms.
Governance Communication:
Ability to operate as a standards owner and control authority, not just a contributor.
Comfort working across engineering, FinOps, and architecture stakeholders.
