Shipment Management Representative (Track & Trace)
Shift: Night shift, aligned to U.S. business hours (approx. 7:00 PM 4:00 AM IST / 9:30 AM 6:30 PM ET, adjustable by carrier region) includes U.S. holiday coverage
About the Role
The Shipment Management Representative owns real-time visibility into customer freight from pickup through final delivery. You'll track shipments across carrier systems and direct carrier calls, catch delays before they become problems, and keep Constellation (TMS) updated so customers and internal teams always know exactly where a shipment stands.
This is a high-volume, detail-driven role suited to someone who's comfortable juggling dozens of active shipments at once without letting anything slip.
What You'll Do

- Confirm shipment status by checking carrier tracking portals and calling carriers directly for updates, ETAs, and delivery confirmations
- Log accurate, timely status updates in Constellation so customers and internal teams have a real-time picture
- Spot delays or exceptions early and flag them for resolution before they escalate into customer issues
- Communicate professionally with carriers to extract clear, actionable status details
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the right internal resource rather than letting them stall

What You'll Need





- Schedule flexibility able to work a shifting, primarily night-shift schedule aligned to U.S. business hours, including U.S. holidays
- Strong English communication confident reading comprehension for carrier websites and tracking data, clean written documentation, and clear, neutral spoken English that's easily understood by U.S.-based carriers and customers on live calls
- Systems comfort able to quickly navigate and interpret shipment data across multiple carrier websites and portals
- U.S. freight knowledge working understanding of U.S. domestic logistics, including Truckload (TL) and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) modes and how freight moves through the supply chain
- Organization under volume able to track a high number of shipments simultaneously without losing accuracy

Nice to Have

- Prior experience in freight, logistics, or customer service track-and-trace experience is a strong plus
- Sound judgment on when to resolve directly versus escalate
- Familiarity with TMS platforms (Constellation experience a plus, not required)

This is a hybrid mode, night-shift role built around sustained carrier outreach and real-time system updates. A reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace are required.
