Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will actively participate in software development and implementation projects through the initiation, analysis, execution, and implementation phases. They will be assigned a team made up of Business Analysts and will engage with cross-functional and multi-national sales, business, and technology team members throughout the project lifecycle - developing and documenting business requirements to be used by software development and delivery teams, as well as forming the basis for test cases utilized by the QA team to ensure solutions meet original business requirements. The Senior Business Analyst provides leadership and drives collaboration inside and outside of their assigned team to help deliver solutions that meet all stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

- Develop healthcare knowledge and a deep understanding of the product.
- Analyse, configure, and resolve product configuration issues in a timely and systematic manner - Primary responsibility.
- Assist the Product Solution Lead/Manager in driving the implementation.
- Guide and mentor Jr. BAs in the team and drive their deliverables.
- Understand and analyse client requirements, and translate them into a functional solution and configure the solution in the product.
- Work closely with SME/Product Owner and Client to establish exact requirements and manage expectations.
- Participate in the full life cycle of design, development, and testing phases.
- Identify issues, structure, and conduct necessary analysis and draw conclusions and findings with limited guidance.
- Work with the technical team on user stories as needed.
- Answer business questions and concerns raised by the client, as needed.
- Maintain requirements traceability and conduct unit testing against requirements.
- Participate in project planning, tracking, and sprint ceremonies.




- Solid product pipeline understanding and prioritization.

Must Have Skills

- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in similar roles.
- Must have on-shore/off-shore experience.
- Manage a team of Business Analysts, performing annual reviews, delegating tasks, and offering guidance on best practices.
- Experience working directly with clients such as Product Owners, Managers, or Directors.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and project management to coordinate efforts between the Delivery and Product Development teams.
- Act as product SME - point of contact for customers for questions, requests, and issues on the working of the product.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies.
- Experience in configuration/implementation of BPM or document management tools.
- Experience working with internal stakeholders such as developers and QA teams.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Strong logic building and application skills.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and active listening skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle tight deadlines under pressure situations.
- Ability to solve problems independently and provide guidance to team members.
- A zeal to learn and apply learning to new situations.
- Ability to collaborate across different teams and stakeholders.

Good to Have

- Experience working on user story creation and defect tracking tools (IBM, JIRA, Azure, etc.).
- Experience working on start-up products.
- Knowledge of any programming language.
- Any experience with the US healthcare industry - basic knowledge works too.

Education

- Management degree is desirable.
