The Archery Coach is responsible for developing students' technical skills, physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship through structured archery coaching programmes. The coach ensures protected training practices, prepares students for competitions, and promotes excellence in sports.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct structured archery training sessions for students.
- Teach correct shooting techniques, posture, equipment handling, and safety procedures.
- Assess students' abilities and develop individualized training plans.
- Identify and nurture talented students for competitive participation.
- Prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national competitions.
- Maintain and inspect archery equipment to ensure safety and usability.
- Monitor student fitness, performance, attendance, and progress.
- Promote discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and ethical sporting practices.
- Coordinate with school authorities regarding tournaments, schedules, and sports events.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards during training and competitions.
- Maintain records of coaching sessions, achievements,



and equipment inventory.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree.
- Recognized Diploma/Certification in Archery.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of coaching experience, preferably in a school.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong technical knowledge of archery techniques and coaching methodologies.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students.
- Knowledge of sports safety, injury prevention, and first aid.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
