Pavani Creations is a growing fashion retail brand specializing in readymade blouses, fabrics and sarees, with multiple stores across Hyderabad.
We are looking for a responsible, customer-friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily billing and cash counter operations.
- Generate accurate bills using the store billing software.
- Receive cash, UPI, card and other digital payments.
- Maintain accurate daily cash and payment records.
- Handle returns, exchanges and billing corrections as per company policy.
- Reconcile the cash counter at the end of each shift/day.
- Coordinate with sales staff regarding billing and customer requirements.
- Assist customers at the billing counter in a polite and qualified manner.
- Ensure proper packing and handover of purchased products.
- Report any billing, payment or cash discrepancies to the store manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cash counter.
- Follow company policies regarding discounts, offers and payment procedures.
Requirements
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS software.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of cash calculations and digital payments.
- Honest, punctual and responsible.
- Ability to work in a busy retail environment.
- Basic knowledge of Telugu and English; Hindi is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
0–2 years in cashiering, retail, supermarkets, fashion stores or similar customer-facing roles.
Working Hours
As per store shift timings.
Salary
₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
