Role**Network Security Engineer

Required Technical Skill Set**

Switching, Routing, Palo-Alto Firewall, Wireless, Voice

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

Positive Experience firewall technologies such as PaloAlto, Panorama firewalls and Palo Alto global protect VPN installation, configuration and troubleshooting network connectivity.

Basic routing and switching fundamentals such as BGP/OSPF/EIGRP/MPLS, Switching VLANS, STP, VTP. Firewalls, Virtual Private Network (VPN), NAT, HA, APP-ID, User-ID, URL and Content filtering.

Wireless LAN Technologies

- Deep knowledge of 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Expertise in Wi-Fi design, coverage planning, and capacity management.
- Familiarity with RF fundamentals (signal strength, SNR, interference, channel planning).

Wireless Infrastructure

- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade WLAN controllers (Cisco WLC, Aruba, Meraki, etc.).
- Configuration and management of Access Points (APs), SSIDs, VLANs, and roaming.

Hands-on with at least one major UC stack:

- Cisco: CUCM, Unity, Expressway, CUBE, VG/ISR, RTMT, CAR.
- Microsoft: Teams Phone (Direct Routing/Operator Connect), SBC integration.

Good-to-Have

Azure AD | Azure Virtual Desktop| NSG| Security Groups experience required Open VPN, Cloud VPN, NAT Gateways, Routing Protocols experience required.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Maintain the clients security and networking devices and upgrade when necessary





- Providing end-to-end support for other engineers on Palo Alto equipment/software
- Cross train in-house to share knowledge and share workload
- Responsible of global protect VPN and troubleshooting
- Responsible for vulnerability fix and patching
- Live packet capture and troubleshooting report

2 Provide documentation designed and installation rollouts

- Responsible for LAN/WAN installation including switches and routers
- Provide support to project managers on security/network deployments
- Suggest and detail design changes as and when needed
- Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) fabric.
- Configure APIC controllers, tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, and endpoint groups (EPGs).
- Implement contracts, filters, and policies for secure communication between EPGs.
- Integrate ACI with Layer 2/Layer 3 networks, firewalls, and external routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Perform firmware upgrades, patches, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Documentation for the customers installations and provide continue service advice

3 Generate Monthly and Quarterly Firewall Audit and Network Capacity Management Reports

4 Timely response on break fix and help in resolving all the incidents that pertain to Network Data and Security

5 Perform Day to Day Operational work pertaining to Network Data and Security (Incidents, Service Requests, Change Requests)

6 Plan and review all the Network Change Requests
