Job Requirements*

1. Hands-on experience with the configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of
1. Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) and Access Points (APs).
2. Cisco Prime Infrastructure / DNA Center
3. Cisco ISE, RADIUS/AAA, 802.1X authentication

- Positive understanding of:

1. Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
2. RF fundamentals, modulation, interference, roaming
3. Wireless security (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, EAP types)
4. Site survey tools like Ekahau, AirMagnet.

- Handle L2 wireless incidents, service requests, and user connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot access point (AP)



registration, client association, roaming, and authentication problems.
- Perform basic configuration changes on Cisco WLCs (AireOS / 9800 series) under guidance.
- Monitor wireless performance, alarms, and AP/WLC health through tools like Prime/DNAC.
- Assist with RF checks, channel/power adjustments, and coverage validations.
- Support onboarding of new APs, SSID updates, and floor map changes.
- Document resolutions, update SOPs, and provide inputs for knowledge base articles.
- Work closely with L3 teams for escalations and deeper RCA.
