Key Responsibilities :

Electrical Maintenance & Reliability

- Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, switchgears, MCCs, PCCs, DG sets, motors, VFDs, and power distribution networks.
- Monitor electrical equipment health and implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime.
- Review and maintain electrical drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, and protection schemes.
- Coordinate shutdown activities and equipment overhauls.

Instrumentation & Automation

- Maintain and calibrate field instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical instruments, weighing systems, and control valves.
- Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS-based process control systems.
- Conduct loop checking, instrument commissioning, and performance verification.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of process measurements critical to refinery and oleo chemical operations.
- Support process automation and digitalization initiatives.

Utilities & Process Support

- Maintain instrumentation and electrical systems associated with:
- Boilers
- Thermic Fluid Heaters (TFH)
- Air Compressors
- Cooling Towers
- Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)
- Water Treatment Plant (WTP)
- Nitrogen Systems
- Tank Farms and Transfer Systems

- Support uninterrupted utility supply for production operations.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

- Participate in recent projects, plant expansion, debottlenecking, and automation upgrades.
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQs,



and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and contractors for installation and commissioning activities.
- Identify opportunities for energy conservation and cost optimization.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company standards.
- Adhere to GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Food Safety, and Quality Management System requirements.
- Support safety audits, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain calibration records, asset history, and documentation as per audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and environmental regulations.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.

Experience

- 2-8 years of experience in Edible Oil Refinery, Food Processing, FMCG, Chemical, Oleo Chemical, Petrochemical, or Continuous Process Industries.
- Experience in solvent extraction, refining, hydrogenation, fractionation, oleo chemical plants, or utility operations will be preferred.

Technical Competencies

- PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems.
- Instrument calibration and control loop tuning.
- ABB / Siemens / Schneider / Allen Bradley automation platforms.
- VFDs, Soft Starters, MCCs, PCCs, and motor control systems.
- Electrical protection systems and relay coordination.
- SAP PM / CMMS maintenance management systems.
- Knowledge of food industry compliance requirements.
