Job DescriptionWe are looking for a hands-on CNC & VMC Engineer to support daily machining operations. The candidate should have practical knowledge of machine setup, changeovers, tooling, offsets and basic CNC program modifications.

The role involves working directly on the shop floor, supporting operators and ensuring smooth operation of CNC/VMC machines.

Key Responsibilities• Handle CNC & VMC machine setup and changeovers

• Perform tool selection, tool changes and tool offset setting

• Monitor tool wear and take necessary corrective action

• Make minor CNC program modifications such as offsets, feed/speed adjustments and sequence edits

• Support new part prove-out under guidance of the senior team

• Oversee CNC/VMC machines and guide assigned operators

• Ensure production as per process sheets, control plans and setup instructions

• Monitor cycle time, part quality and machine utilization

• Ensure first-piece and in-process inspection compliance

• Support rejection analysis and corrective actions

• Coordinate with maintenance during machine breakdowns

• Maintain proper production documentation and traceability

• Maintain 5S, safety and shop-floor discipline





• Provide proper machine and job status during shift handover

Candidate Requirements• Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production or related field

• 1–4 years of CNC/VMC machining experience

• Hands-on experience in machine setup and changeovers

• Good knowledge of tooling and offsets

• Able to read engineering drawings and process sheets

• Basic understanding of CNC programs/G-code preferred

• Able to independently manage machines and operators on the shop floor

• Automotive/precision machining experience preferred

• Exposure to multiple part numbers and frequent changeovers preferred

• Basic awareness of ISO/IATF shop-floor practices preferred

Work Requirements• 100% shop-floor role

• Candidate must be willing to work in all three shifts

Significant: This position is suitable for someone with strong practical machining knowledge. Advanced CNC programming from scratch is not mandatory. The candidate should, however, be comfortable with machine setup, tooling, offsets and minor program corrections.
