- Report to the Senior Structural Engineer Take project delivery responsibility Represent EOC at workshops, design team meetings and site meetings with clients and collaborators
- Develop structural designs on a range of projects in concrete, steel, timber, masonry and other materials Coordinate with architect and other engineering consultants as part of the team
- Contribute to production of internal technical notes and R&D; initiatives
- Reviews own and others work as part of quality assurance Maintains up to date technical knowledge Uses analytical software effectively and interprets the outputs well Applies theory to practice and in a logical way
- Highlights potential problems and look for a resolution Perform other duties as reasonably required
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduate membership of a relevant qualified institution (CIBSE, RIBA,
IStructE, SFE) Working knowledge of relevant design software for structural analysis Motivated and committed to delivering high-quality design work
- Able to build effective working relationships with professionals of all levels and disciplines both locally and globally
